I just moved this blog from my old site at Google’s Blogger (www.reflectionsfromthepond.blogspot.com) and I am still working on getting all images and links and stuff like that to work properly – bear with me!

 

About Reflections From The Pond

I started blogging about World of Warcraft in November 2007.

Prior to that I used to fill up my guild’s forum with tall tales of my outrageous adventures in Azeroth, but then one slow day at work as I was surfing along I came across WoW Insider and an article about some WoW-bloggers.

I was intrigued – this sounded fun! I located a blogging site (Blogger) and immediately set a page up and started writing.

Since  I play many different classes I didn’t want a blogname that was too specific, and since I didn’t have any plan whatsoever as to what I was going to write about (except that it would be WoW-related) I chose a name that pretty much covers everything.

Reflections as in thoughts or opinions formed from calm, relaxed musing or meditation, reflections as in consideration of some subject matter or idea, reflections as in holding up a mirror to the world to show similarities or differences (here is where the rantings come in).

And regarding the pond, am I a small fish in a big pond or a big fish in a small pond? Or a small fish in a small pond maybe?

 Well, this pond is mine and no matter what size, I am the Big Fish in it.
